Based in New York, Finkenberg joins Perkins Coie from BNY Mellon, where he served as associate general counsel and managing director.

At BNY Mellon, Finkenberg managed the bank’s legal teams, supervising depositary receipts, treasury, broker-dealer services and government clearing services.

He also led the formation and acquisition of overseas trust banks across Latin America, Europe and Asia.

We are excited that he chose to join our entrepreneurial team.”

Commenting on his new role, Linc said: “The rapid pace of innovation is striking; it’s changing how business gets done and how lawyers counsel and Perkins Coie is a great firm and at the forefront. The people, culture, entrepreneurial spirit and emphasis on technology made this a great fit and I'm incredibly excited.”
